The Goldman family and Goldrock Capital are proud of their respective contributions that improve social realities and strengthen the positive values on which the family and firm stands:

 

Goldrock Capital is a proud sponsor of Tmura.

The Goldman family made an endowment to the Business School which included:

• A named chair - The David Goldman Chair of Business Innovation

• A Research Studentship to support the Chair

• The David Goldman Visiting Professor of Business Innovation 

- An annual appointment of a prominent academic or business figure in the field of innovation or entrepreneurship
- The Visiting Professor gives the annual David Goldman Public Lecture and works within the School providing leadership and mentoring to the students and faculty.

The David Goldman Scholarship – a £5,000 annual award to a graduating student from Sunderland University who has shown qualities of entrepreneurship and innovation intending to go on to a Masters programme within the University in related areas of management, marketing and innovation.

The David Goldman Infomatics Centre – The Infomatics Centre, part of the Sir Tom Cowie Campus of the University, houses the School of Computing and is also used for many executive training programmes in technology by the likes of Cisco and Microsoft.

Music Centre Gateshead - Music Education Centre

The David Goldman Programme – This is a permanent program of activities that creates a fitting tribute to David Goldman`s memory reflecting: David`s enthusiasm for music, the north of England and, most importantly, the development of young people. This long-term endowment fund provides a number of annual awards for young people to make a significant difference to their development and / or continuation with musical education, as well as have access to music lessons with teachers of highest quality in the region. Program helps 9-20 children; the length of award is from 1-3 years.
