Goldman Investments was formed in 1999 and was rebranded in 2008 as Goldrock Capital. This change reflects the shift in business focus to managing funds from a broader audience of investors. While Goldrock Capital continues to advise its clients regarding alternative investment strategies, most of its energies are focosed on Goldrock Israel Growth - Goldrock Capital`s first institutionally and private investor backed private equity fund, focusing on growth investing in Israel.
From the period of 1999 to 2008, Goldman Investments advised UK based family clients in two core areas:
1) Direct Technology Investments
Goldman Investments was an active investor in technology investments in Israel and Europe from 1997 through 2003 (see Legacy Portfolio for details).
2) Alternative Investments
Goldman Investments partnered with investment managers in diversified asset classes in order to achieve strong risk adjusted returns for its clients.
