Daniel is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Goldrock Capital, which was launched together with Darren Rockman in 2008. Prior to launching Goldrock Capital, Daniel founded Goldman Investments in the late 1990s – an investment advisory firm to UK based family clients. Daniel began advising investments both in Europe and Israel – primarily in technology driven companies. In addition to a number of smaller investments, Daniel invested in BATM (LSE: BVC) in Israel, where Daniel’s late father – David Goldman – was non-executive Chairman. Following David Goldman’s untimely passing in 1999, Daniel acted as a non-executive director in BATM from 1999 through 2005. In 1999, Daniel led an investment in an early stage document management company – Invu. Daniel has been actively involved with the company since its seed round until today, where Daniel is the chairman. Invu is currently publicly traded on the AIM market (AIM: INVU).

In 2001, Daniel recruited Darren Rockman to co-manage Goldman Investments, where they worked together to conduct direct investments in technology companies and also alternative style investments on behalf of the firm’s advisory clients. During this time, Daniel was also a director in the Puma II Fund, which was a UK-based investment vehicle for growth businesses that experienced a return of 60%.

Daniel is interested in actively investing in numerous sectors with a bias towards Enterprise Software, Software as a Service (SaaS), and other IT technology driven businesses.

Daniel was born in 1969 in Newcastle in the United Kingdom and made Aliyah to Israel in 1992 following extensive involvement in his local community and in UK Bnei Akiva. He studied Music Therapy in Tel Aviv and then went on to serve a year in the Israeli Defense Forces.

In the Goldman family tradition, Daniel Goldman is extremely involved in his home community by devoting time to working with organizations to promote understanding and tolerance, with a view to creating a better future for the people of Israel. In addition to being Co-Chairman of World Bnei Akiva, he sits on the Board of Gesher. His activities range from helping children-at-risk, education, health organizations, musical endeavors (following in his father’s footsteps and love for music), and assuring the future development in the Beit Shemesh area. He is also a member of a Regional Committee fostering relations between Beit Shemesh, Washington DC, and South Africa. Daniel is also a board member of Keren Beit Shemesh, a foundation focused on providing the needs of Beit Shemesh.

Daniel lives in Bet Shemesh with his wife and five children.
